Sound familiar?
Clearing a blockage fixes the symptom. If roots or cracks are letting water out and dirt in, the blockage comes back and the pipe keeps getting worse.
What we fix
Sewer and stormwater blockages cleared fast with jet blasting, then the cause found on camera so it doesn't come back.
Cracked, leaking or sagging clay, PVC and cast iron pipes relined from the inside. No trenches, no wrecked driveway.
Roots cut out with robotic cutters and the joints they came in through sealed for good. Figs, palms and gums are the usual Noosa culprits.
Camera surveys, pre-purchase drain checks, junction repairs, stormwater and sewer relining for homes, units and commercial sites.
Why Your Relining Mates
Blocked drains, CCTV inspections and relining are the whole job here, not a sideline. The crew does this every day, with the gear to match: jetters, robotic cutters and relining rigs on the truck.
No excavator, no concrete saw, no re-turfing. Most jobs are finished in a day and cost well under a full dig-and-replace once you add up what replacement actually involves.
We use cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) technology: a resin-soaked liner hardened inside your existing pipe to form a new, jointless one. Stronger than clay or PVC, with nothing for roots to get back into.
Every relining quote starts with a camera survey so you know exactly what's wrong before you spend a dollar. Go ahead with the reline and the inspection cost comes off your final invoice.
Pipe relining explained
We clean the damaged pipe, insert a flexible liner soaked in resin, inflate it so it hugs the pipe wall, then cure it hard. What's left is a smooth, jointless pipe inside the old one, stronger than what was there, with no joins for roots to get back into.
Why reline instead of dig
No trenches through lawns, pavers, driveways or pool surrounds. Most jobs run through existing access points.
Most residential relines are finished the same day. Dig-and-replace usually means days of excavation and reinstatement.
No machinery hire, no concrete cutting, no landscaping to redo. You pay for the fix, not the mess.
Cured liners are rated for decades of service and are stronger than the clay or PVC they go into.
Roots enter through joints. A relined pipe has none, so the cause of the blockage is gone.
How it works
Most residential jobs are done in a single day. You get the before-and-after camera footage for your records.
A camera goes down the line to find exactly where the damage is, what caused it, and whether relining is the right fix. You see the footage too.
High-pressure jet blasting clears the blockage. Robotic cutters remove roots and scale so the liner bonds to clean pipe wall.
A resin-soaked liner is pulled or inverted into the pipe and inflated so it presses against the old pipe, covering every crack and joint.
The resin is cured with hot water, steam or UV light until it sets rock hard. Junctions are reopened with a robotic cutter.
The camera goes back down to confirm a smooth, sealed pipe from end to end.
Proactive maintenance
Older homes, big trees and clay pipes don't fail all at once. A camera check every couple of years and a clean when it needs one costs a fraction of an emergency callout, and tells you when a reline is coming so you can plan for it. Worth doing before you buy, sell or renovate too.
Who you're dealing with
Your Relining Mates is run by Mason, the same bloke behind Your Plumbing Mates. After years of clearing the same drains for the same Noosa customers every few months, he set up a dedicated relining crew so people could fix the pipe once and get on with their lives.
Same rules as the plumbing side: we show up when we say we will, we tell you what's actually wrong (with the camera footage to prove it), and we don't quote work you don't need. If a jet blast is all it takes, that's what we'll tell you.

Where we work
Based in Noosa Heads, working Gympie to Maroochydore. Older homes in Noosa, Tewantin and Cooroy often still run on clay sewer lines with rubber-ring joints. Add the fig trees and you've got a root problem. That's most of our work.
Common questions
It depends on the length and diameter of pipe and how many junctions are involved, so we quote every job off the camera footage. Relining is nearly always cheaper than digging up and replacing the pipe once you count excavation, concrete and landscaping. Quotes are free and there's no obligation.
Most residential sewer and stormwater relines are done in a single day. Water and drains are usually back on the same afternoon.
Cured liners are rated for 50 years or more. They're structurally stronger than the clay, concrete or PVC pipe they go inside and have no joints for roots to get into.
Reline if the pipe still holds its shape: cracks, leaking joints, root intrusion and minor displacement are all textbook relining jobs. Replace (or spot-dig) if it has collapsed or is badly corroded. The CCTV inspection makes the call, and we'll show you the footage so you can see why.
Most can, including clay, PVC, cast iron and concrete sewer and stormwater pipes. A fully collapsed pipe or a section with a severe belly may need a spot excavation first. The CCTV inspection tells us which, before you commit to anything.
Almost never. Relining is done through existing access points such as inspection openings and gullies. If we do need a small access pit we'll tell you up front and keep it as small as possible.
Yes. If a jet blast is all that's needed, that's all we'll do. We'll show you the camera footage either way so you know whether the blockage will come back.
